Chapter 12
An unexpected Ending

With Kari now losing blood, Ladydevimon turned to Ophanimon and then with a cough Kari said,
"Please Ophanimon don't destroy Ladydevimon since I love her" she said.
Both female Digimon couldn't believe what Kari was saying when she began to explain,
"Over the past weeks, I have grown to love Ladydevimon and for what she has done for me with the costume I have on and so I wish to make Ladydevimon my second partner" she explained.
Ophanimon then looked at Kari and removed her Javelin away from Ladydevimon and said,
"But Kari what about becoming a Ladydevimon yourself?" asked Ophanimon.
"I Will be fine since I will still be my old self and I will be able to use the costume for Halloween and stuff" replied Kari as she ran out of breath and her eyes closed.
All the other Digidestined were released from their bonds as Tai ran over to Kari's now motionless body and said,
"Kari please don't leave us" he said when he hugged his sister in his arms.
Ophanimon then turned to Ladydevimon and said,
"Do you see now what love is Ladydevimon?" she asked.
"Yes I do so please allow me to become her second partner?" replied Ladydevimon.
"Of course" replied Ophanimon when Ladydevimon got up and walked over to Kari you said,
"Allow me Tai" she said when she picked the motionless Kari up and carry her over to everyone as Mimi, Sora and Yolei were being comforted by Matt, Davis and TK and the other male members of the Digidestined team.
A short time later, Ladydevimon placed Kari's body within the light of the full moon and before getting to her feet, she whispered,
"I love you Kari" when she kissed her on the lips before getting up.
After walking away from Kari, the full moon began to glow like the sun as a beam shown down on Kari's body when suddenly everyone took out their Digivices and shown them down onto Kari's body. Tai was the first to do it when Matt, Sora, Mimi, TK, Joe and finally Izzy who had been teleported to the Digital World followed behind him when Davis, Ken, Yolei, and Cody followed them. Just then Ladydevimon took the Digivice that Datamon had made and shown it onto Kari's body. With the power of the full moon and the Digivices, Kari's wounds began to heal when suddenly Ophanimon stepped into the circle of Light and placed ten crystal like stones onto her chest before she opened her beautiful white angel wings and with the javelin in hand held it up to the full moon and said,
"I Ophanimon hereby use the last of my power to allow Ladydevimon to become Kari's second partner" as she faded from view as the light faded and the moon went behind a large cloud.
At first nothing happened but when Tai had walked up to his Sisters body and dropped to his knees and held Kari in his hands when a tear fell from his eye and hit Kari's lips. Just then Kari began to move when she looked up and saw everyone around her before she looked into Tai's eyes and said,
"Hi big brother" she said when the sadness turned to joy when Tai got up and helped his sister onto legs.
With Kari now healed, she looked around and saw Ladydevimon but there was no sign of Gatomon when she walked over to Ladydevimon and said,
"Would you like to be my second partner?"
Ladydevimon was about to speak but was stopped when Kari placed her fingers on her lips before removing them and slapped a Kiss onto Ladydevimon's black coloured lips.
Just then a Pink bubble appeared and out came Gatomon who was now back to her normal self as she was once again a cat.
Kari turned around who was still wearing the Ladydevimon outfit as she bent down and said,
"Thank you Gatomon for coming to get me and I promise never to give into the darkness of my nightmares again" she said when she cried while hugging Gatomon.
"Kari I will always protect you no matter how bad things get, here I was able to save these for you" replied Gatomon when she took out the outfit she wore when she was a human.
After everyone but Kari went home, both Ladydevimon and Gatomon looked at one another before turning to Kari and said,
"Are you two ready to help me and my friends keep the Digital World safe?" she asked the two Digimon in front of her
"Yes Kari we are" replied Gatomon and Ladydevimon. Just as they were turning to go home a large pillar of light appeared and there was a silhouette of a Digivice as the one that Ladydevimon was holding floated into the light and radiated a powerful beam into the night sky. When the light had faded there floating in front of Kari was a new Digivice. This new Digivice was different to the old pink one she once had since this Digivice had two different colours while one half was the normal Pink the other half was black when Ladydevimon looked at Kari and said,
"I guess that is your new Digivice Kari and one that you can use on both me and Gatomon" she said.
"Let's find out shall we?" said Kari still in the Ladydevimon outfit.
"Gatomon Digivolved to... Angewoman" she said when Angewoman appeared but then quickly de digivolved back into Gatomon.
With that out of the way, Kari looked at her two Digimon Partners and said,
"Let's go home" as she used her new Digivice to return to the real world closing the Digiport behind her.

And so with both Gatomon and BlackGatomon as her partners, Kari continued to keep both the real world and the Digital Worlds with her friends.
Over the next few months, all was quiet in the Digital world and Agumon and the others kept patrolling areas while in the real world Kari hung out with her friends and family while in her spare time she bought many yards of sleek pink and black latex and made her own outfits, dresses and masks while also buying numerous catsuit's and different styles and types of boots ranging from ankle to thigh high creating numerous Harley Quinn inspired outfits but she always dressed as Ladydevimon once Halloween came around.

Meanwhile in the Digital World, a new dark power was beginning to stir.

Who or what is this new Dark Power and what does it have in store for the Digital World and the Digidestined.
